Surry Living

Northern Rehabilitation

February 2024 Issue

In February 2024, Surry Living Magazine was feeling the love. We got a look at The Humble Hare in Mount Airy who shows love to their community by using sales to support hospice and palliative care services in the area. In This Little Light of Mine, we are reminded to act on God’s love. In Timeless Love, we hear the love story of Carol and Billy Snow, who have been married for 69 years. In Fit Living, we remember to love our bodies and embrace our own strength. In A Trip Back in Time: First Love, we chuckle at the little sparks of “love” throughout the author’s youth. We celebrate with the Northern Skilled Nursing Center at Northern Regional Hospital as they are recognized among the best nationwide. With Simply Delicious, we get tips and recipes to help us strengthen our heart and our bodies in general. We are treated to Chinese Style Lemon Chicken in Sweet and Savory Life. We learn about our pets dental hygiene with Dr. Sarah Southard, DVM. We take a look at a local scholarship opportunity by the NC State Extension Master Gardener (EMG) program. Lastly, we are reminded to take time to focus on God in Navigating Life.
